With its bold design, modern powertrain, and well-equipped cabin, the SR5 trim strikes the perfect balance between rugged utility and everyday usability, whether youre towing heavy loads, tackling the jobsite, or heading out on a weekend adventure.
Performance & Power
The Tundra SR5 is powered by Toyotas i-FORCE 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, producing up to 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a smooth 10-speed automatic transmission, it delivers responsive acceleration and confident performance. The truck is available in rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, offering excellent control on highways, city streets, and off-road trails.
Towing & Payload

Selectable TOW/HAUL driving mode and an integrated trailer brake controller make towing safer and easier, ensuring heavy loads are handled with confidence and stability.
Exterior Design
The SR5 combines rugged strength with refined design. It features 18-inch alloy wheels, durable body-on-frame construction, and a reinforced bed that resists dents and corrosion. Functional touches like power-extending tow mirrors and available roof rails add utility, while the aggressive grille, LED headlights, and sculpted body lines give the Tundra a commanding presence on the road.
Interior Comfort & Technology
Inside, the Tundra SR5 offers a practical yet comfortable cabin for up to five passengers. CrewMax configurations provide generous rear-seat legroom. The interior features soft-touch surfaces, a well-designed center console, and multiple storage options. An 8-inch touchscreen provides access to infotainment features, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and USB connectivity, while a full-color driver information display keeps essential information within easy view. Heated front seats and a multifunction steering wheel enhance comfort and convenience.
Safety & Driver Assistance
Safety is a priority in the 2025 Tundra SR5. Standard Toyota Safety Sense includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure alert, adaptive cruise control, and more. Additional features, such as integrated trailer brake control, help keep towing safe and controlled. The reinforced frame and advanced braking system contribute to stability and confidence on any terrain.
Utility & Practicality
The Tundra SR5 offers versatile bed and cab options to match a variety of lifestyles and work needs. The composite-reinforced bed, practical storage compartments, and strong suspension make it ideal for hauling gear, equipment, or recreational items. CrewMax and Double Cab configurations allow flexibility for passengers and cargo.

Underwhelming
By Angel Q | on Monday, July 29, 2024
Toyota has let faithful customers down. The car itself performs well, but the quality is severely lacking. The vehicle is plagued with rattles: the windows make wind noise and can’t be left partially open due to the risk of breaking, the doors rattle, the panoramic roof rattles, the center console rattles, and the roof panel rattles. Additionally, the driver’s seat squeaks louder than any other car I've owned. The transmission is clunky, and the throttle response is so delayed it feels like a safety hazard. On top of that, for $70k, you get a truck without app services unless you pay for a subscription, which feels like a blatant cash grab. I'm extremely disappointed with Toyota.… - 3.0
Toyota quality is slipping
By Bill | on Saturday, October 19, 2024
The truck has some nice features, but I couldn’t get past all the plastic, rattles, noises, poor rear suspension. Truthfully I didn’t like the twin turbo 6. Nice looking truck, but I never thought I would see the day that Chevy Silverado quality of materials and solidness is better than the Toyota Tundra.… - 5.0
Awesome Truck
By James R | on Monday, April 07, 2025
Just another Toyota quality built vehicle! No vehicle is perfect, but this one comes real close. Very good quality inside and out. Plenty of power and very comfortable on long rides. I've been real happy with it since day one.…
